Data Backup

Oh, No!! You can’t get to your data?? Our tech, Brinn, says

Everyone knows that feeling, something goes wrong and suddenly you are terrified that your precious data is missing. Maybe it is a game crashing, maybe your power goes out, perhaps you ran out of power in your battery, perhaps even a human moment occurs and accidentally close it. You curse yourself for not having copies and begin to frantically search for your data. Maybe you find it, or maybe you have to cut your losses are start at an earlier point, (maybe even from scratch)! When this happens you realize something we all know but don’t always bother doing when nothing is going wrong; Backups are important. Even when we think we have nothing of great importance to protect, “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone”.

Windows 8.1

Windows 8.1 – There have been many conversations relative to this newest Operating System. Pat Spencer with our Service Department has listed his “Favorite Windows 8.1 Features”:

1. The start button is back – The start button being back makes Windows 8 much more user friendly for users that are accustomed to Windows 7. Although the start menu is not back as many people remember it, it provides easy access to the metro interface that is actually easier to use than the old start menu. It takes a few days to get accustomed to, but once you do you will appreciate the one click access to all of your most used programs.
